A Bollywood film without female actress sounds unappetizing, loveless and manly sort of film? Well, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Boss was on the path to introduce one film with only male actor in the lead, but thanks to the director who recently announced that the film will have a female lead in Aditi Rao Hydari.
The film, which is being directed by Anthony D'Souza who had debuted with Blue (2009 film)), is jointly produced by Cape Of Good Films and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film marks the second collaboration of Anthony D'Souza with Akshay Kumar after Blue. The movie is an official remake of a Malayalam film Pokkiri Raja. The shooting of the film begins on 20th October in Delhi and will be released in mid 2014.
In the film where Akshay Kumar is playing a kind hearted gangster, Aditi Rao will be a surprise element. She will not play the love interest of Akshay but will be an A-lister to add to the commercial angle of the film. This is also said that Akshay is going to reprise the role played by Mammooty in the original film.
Now, we can say the film is for all categories.
