Often we hear about big celebrities doing something different, and this time it is none other than Riteish Deshmukh who has done something for the children. He has come up with a new movie titled as Balak Palak, which promotes sex education among kids.
The actor turned producer recently held a very different screening of the film for students from his ex-school at INOX in Nariman Point, Mumbai at 9:30 am. The higher secondary section of his school GD Somani Memorial School was present at the screening.
The movie has been directed by one of the Marathi director Ravi Jadhav. It has also been selected for two prestigious film festivals - South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) in New York and MAMI in Mumbai. It has been gearing up at the box office as well.
Riteish said, “I was actually inspired by the critics, who wrote in their reviews that every Balak (child) and Palak (parent) should watch this film. The film does make you think about the importance of sex education. I wanted to share this work of ours with my school G D Somani and its students. I'm glad Principal Seymour instantly agreed to the screening of my film for the secondary students.”
We really are proud of you Riteish. If all actors take up social responsibility like you the world will be a better place.
