Zoya Akhtar is keen to cast Hrithik and Kareena as pair in her next!

Der is no secret that Kareena Kapoor was the first choice for the female lead in Hrithik Roshan’s debut film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. But things couldn’t turn out and later Ameesha Patel came on frame opposite Hrithik. Well, nothing bad as later on both Hrithik and Kareena worked in number of films together such as Yaadein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon. However, later due to their link-up rumours the two stopped working and never came together on big screen together. Now the latest buzz has that Zoya Akhtar is keen to take the two as lead in her next. And if it happens, then it will be their first film with each other after a decade almost. Time ago, Kareena even said that she thinks they make a fabulous pair and is keeping her fingers crossed for a good project to come their way. Seems Zoya’s film is just what she wished. Zoya wants to rekindle Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan’s big screen romance in her next. Also, Zoya is keen to sign Kareena’s cousin Ranbir Kapoor in the film. The Kapoors will be playing brother-sister in the film, and the actress Katrina Kaif has apparently been chosen to star opposite Ranbir in the film. Must say, Zoya has pulled off a casting coup of sorts.
